The company behind the study and the Orgasm Library is Bijoux Indiscrets, whose CEO and founder Marta Aguiar had this to say about the project:
Moans and sound in general, when real, are great communication tools during sex, and communication is key. But when sounds are performed instead of felt, they make less sense.
Unlike with porn, which is often unrealistic, there’s no performance involved in this library.
“What does this mean for me?”
