How to Get in a Better Mood, No Matter How You’re Feeling Now — Can You Guess Why It’s Such a Turn-On For Her?
I’ve talked about the dangers of being in a bad mood before — not only can a sour mood make you feel bad, but it can also ruin your chances with a beautiful woman.
But today, I want to talk about something else:
I want to show you the benefits of being in a good mood or having a positive mental mindset.
I’ll share more specific strategies to improve your mood in a later article — today, I want to focus on why a good mood is so important to women.
Because once you understand exactly how important it is, then getting there becomes a whole lot easier.
The #1 Reason Women Love Men With Positive Mental Mindsets
A lot of men assume that looking good is the easiest way to attract more women. And superficially, it makes sense.
However, here’s one big secret that most guys don’t know:
When you feel good — you look good too.
This is the #1 reason women love men with positive mental mindsets: They just look better.
One powerful effect of being in a good mood is that you look as though you are accustomed to success.
Think about it:
If everything you do always works out…
Or if every scene you enter finds you the victor or the star…
If trouble always yields to you…
What would you look like?
More than likely, you’d look comfortable and happy, right?
So with that in mind, here are three more major sexual benefits of having a positive mental mindset:
1) Better Mood = Better Posture
Here’s a little experiment for you. Right now, stop what you’re doing and stand (or sit) up like you’re in the best mood of your life.
What is it like?
Are you slouched? Shrinking down? Looking at your feet or the floor?
If you’re like most of the guys who try that experiment in front of me, you were probably standing up straight, looking up, with your body taut and your lungs full of air.
Since they are often caused by similar outcomes in life, you’ll find that a good mood looks an awful lot like confidence & self-acceptance.
On the other hand, the listless presentation of depression is almost exactly the polar opposite of this. It’s not masculine at all.
While masculine posture appears rigid, energized, and ready for action…
The posture of someone who’s depressed appears slumped, folded, and unwilling to take action.
So when you’re in a good mood, your posture instantly becomes more masculine.
2) Better Mood = More Sexual Success
A while ago, I gave you an exercise to pay attention to the state of mind — or mood — you’re in when interactions just go well.
Did you have more sexual success when you were in a good mood or a bad mood?
Probably when you were feeling good, right?
And that makes sense — because when you’re feeling excited, relaxed, and positive, women pick up on this. It’s a combination of states that most women find very attractive.
However, if you’re feeling defensive, worried, and negative, then women can also pick up on it. And often, it sends them running for the hills.
So when you’re in a good mood, women are naturally more drawn to you sexually.
3) Better Mood = Better For You
Is it a happy coincidence (see what I did there?) that the good mood and attractive mood correlate so highly?
Of course not.
So by now, it should be clear that being in a good mood is great for your sexual success. And guess what?
It’s also healthier for you.
Men with most positive mindsets experience less stress and have fewer health problems than men who are constantly anxious, depressed, or worried.
Which is all well and good — but what if you aren’t sure how to get into that positive mental mindset?
Is It Really That Easy to Improve Your Mood?
I know that things happen and your mood drops.
You might feel bad about situations in your life…
The way other people feel….
Or what they do…
All of these things can certainly affect your mood.
What I’m going to tell you may not please you — so don’t take it seriously if it doesn’t. Just do me a huge favor and think about it, OK?
How you feel (AKA your mood) is not actually caused by what happens.
Your life and what’s happening in it doesn’t make you feel bad.
Getting what you want doesn’t make you feel good.
If the worst thing you could imagine happened — but you didn’t know — would you feel bad? No, of course not.
If you thought you had a winning lottery ticket and then discovered that in fact, it wasn’t a winning ticket, how would you feel before the realization?
How do you feel after?
Even though nothing actually changed, your mental mindset might.
So this is the key to having a positive mental outlook — you have to frame the situation in a way that still makes you feel good.
How I Learned to Improve My Mood in 5 Minutes Or Less…
Yesterday, after a session with a client, I went to a popular public square to make some calls and soak up the sun.
After I was done, I put my phone in the inside pocket of my coat and started heading home.
Suddenly, I realized that I don’t have an inside breast pocket! The phone was gone.
It had simply slipped through the place I put it and fell to the floor.
I turned around and started looking for it. Gone.
Where do you think my mood went?
I stopped a guy holding his phone and convinced him to let me call my phone.
I couldn’t hear it and no one answered. He suggested a “find my device” website — unfortunately, my phone wasn’t registered.
All of a sudden, I was thinking about how a good day can turn horrible in a split-second.
It Doesn’t End There…
Did my day take a turn for the worse at the moment the phone was lost?
Or was it the moment I realized it was lost? The event didn’t affect how I felt; my thoughts about it did.
Then, a guy started walking toward me with a baby in one hand and a stroller in the other.
“Hey,” he said to me. “Did you lose a phone?”
“Yes!” Relief, and hope, I’m sure, shone in my eyes.
“Is this it? I picked it up and I was waiting for someone to call,” he continued, as I lifted the phone from his stroller, gushing with appreciation.
Where do you think my mood went after that exchange? What actually changed?
That’s right — nothing really happened. I dropped my phone, I got my phone.
In fact, things were worse now, since my phone was now damaged from where it hit the ground.
Though in reality, I felt much better than I felt before I lost my phone.
What you focus on is much more important for how you feel than what actually happens.
This is also how people like Robin Williams, John Belushi, Marilyn Monroe and the artist formerly known as Prince managed to have almost everything they wanted and still feel bad.
Put your mind toward what you like, what you have, and what you want — and it can be yours.

The Mental Trick That Sparks Her Sexual Desire For You…
The other day, I got this message from a buddy of mine on Facebook:
“David, have you tried this technique yet? Does it actually work on women you’ve never met before??? Let me know man. Hope you’ve been well.”
Attached to the message was an article… all about oxytocin, AKA the “love & sex hormone.”
Apparently, oxytocin is released immediately after sex, and creates a sensation of emotional closeness… which explains why a woman will become more emotionally attached to you after sex.
Well, I guess a good amount of oxytocin is also released when you hug or touch a woman in a certain way. Which made me wonder… does that have something to do with this “technique” my buddy mentioned in his message to me?
By the time I finished the article, I had my answer:
The “technique” is really just a way for you to trigger a woman’s brain to release oxytocin from the moment you meet her. It’s subtle… though it seems to elicit that same kind of “I want to do whatever it takes to stay close to you” response from her.
Well, after testing the technique in crowded bars… on the street… and with women I had never met before in my life… I’d estimate it worked to get her number or a date 65% of the time… and the rest?
Those women were either super busy or unavailable. Lost causes.
So if you’ve never tried this before… it might be worth a shot:
