I was out with one of my newer students last week… he’s an older guy (recently divorced)… so I took him to the most low-pressure place I know: Starbucks.
“OK, Jim” I said… “Pick out the woman who looks most interested in you… and walk over and say ‘Hello.’”
He looked around for a few seconds… gave me a blank stare… shrugged, and said “Uh.. I don’t think any of them look interested in me.’”
I was shocked — not only was a cute blonde on her laptop eyeing him up and down… but the barista was cleeeearly into him too!
Then it hit me — I freaking forgot to show him the signs!!!
