This rush of hormones can make us feel nervous, yet excited.
It causes us to feel that innate draw towards another person.
The Dana Foundation hypothesizes that this response evolved to help us isolate and pursue worthwhile mating partners to avoid wasting our sexual energy.
Either way, we know for certain from a scientific perspective that the attraction and sexual tension between individuals is 100% real — not imagined.
